- Leeanne Nicol Added December 17, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ☆went to the inaugural Portland Blues Festival held at this Hotel. Best 2 days/nights of live music. Awesome to say the least, food, drinks & music with warm cosy fire places inside & outside . Staff were amazing & curtesy car to camping ground where we camped. Highly recommended checking out this quaint country town & a stay over a night or two to really relax & enjoy country hospitality.

Had a great time, rooms were basic but very good and clean.
Food and atmosphere in the pub was fantastic.
Hospitality from the publicans was amazing.
I highly recommend this for anyone having a visit to the area. - caz kinkade Added November 22, 2023★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆The place was old outdated went to the get lunch was told there was no chips on the menu but would get a 15% offer off our out meal' never got a discount was given a buzzer there is no gambling what so ever no pokies or keno, wasn't told were the resturant was found it our self the resturant was cold waited for our meal both chicken snitzel were burnt and so was my nachos told the server nothing was done not even a refund was left waiting until we left

Service was awesome, the live music was sensational, and the atmosphere was what you'd expect from a real true Australian country pub. The owner is so friendly and accommodating, highly highly recommend this pub. I'll definitely be making the 5 hour trip to come back here for the next festival

They are the 2nd or 3rd biggest employer of local staff in Portland.
It was great to support a local business that gives back to their community.
